Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well. This last year has been extremely challenging for the people of Cameron Parish, young and old, but I must say, things are looking up. Schools are open and the repairs are ongoing, children are learning and socializing with their peers, and communities are starting to take their shape Pre-Laura/Delta. While I know everyone still has a long road ahead, is nice to see these small signs of hope and normalcy.
Attached you will find the 2021-2022 school calendar that the board approved on Monday, March 15, 2021 at their regular meeting.
You will also find a revised 2020-2021 school calendar and school schedule that the board approved for the remainder of this school year. This calendar and schedule will begin Monday, May 3, 2021. This calendar and schedule just returns our students to their normal schedule after state testing (4 and 5 day schools will resume normal days and times). Please note students last day is still slated for Thursday, May 27, 2021 and the teachers last day is Friday, May 28, 2021.
